Identify a dream you have for your life…then consider this:

  1. On a scale of 1-10, how much do you REALLY WANT to realize it?
  2. How willing are YOU to do whatever it takes to discover the highest and best of who you are?

In the words of John Assaraf, “If you’re interested, you’ll do what’s convenient. If you’re committed, you’ll do whatever it takes.”

Are YOU interested…or are you committed?

For your dreams to actualize, it is imperative that you generate energy and clear action that aligns with creating what it is that you want for yourself – and this means, the alignment of thought, word AND deed.

This means, for example, saying “yes” when you mean YES, and “no” when you mean NO. It means doing what you say you’re going to do – no excuses. It means showing up and being on time for what’s important to you. It means making a commitment – to yourself and to other people – that creates a sense of accountability and “all-in-ness.” It means Quantum Leaping your dream so that fear won’t have nearly enough power to take you out.

One of my Dream AccerlationTM forumulas is:

Aligned Action + Brave Belief + Creative Collaboration =

Dream-Accelerating Momentum

Putting inspired, Aligned ACTION behind what you want is one way to really accelerate your momentum toward the fulfillment of your desired future. Add to THAT, a Brave Belief in what’s possible (even if you don’t know all “the how” pieces yet) AND the power of Creative Collaboration with like-minded others who know how to support you in your process … and you’ll be unstoppable.

And it *all* starts with the Power of Decision. Decision is the point of creation.

In my book…Are You Pregnant With A Dream?, I use pregnancy as a metaphor to walk the reader through each state of the natural process of bringing a dream to life. In it, I write about the moment of “conception” as being that point of creation, the moment of decision. It’s that pivotal moment when you say to yourself, “I’m going to do this thing. It’s mine. Now I just have to work out the details.”

It’s a decision that only you can make.

The point of decision is not about what you might do. It’s about what you will do – no matter what. It’s about Commitment in Action.

The brainstorms, and maybes, and let-me-do-some-research-before-I-decide phases may all be pre-cursors to “conception”. Many will “try” for years and debate whether to bring a dream to life … but buzzing along from one idea to the next is not likely to manifest anything but a sense of feeling lost or inadequate. You must make a decision!

IF and when you choose to make this internal decision, it will be nothing short of life-changing. And again, it’s a decision that only you can make.

Since we always create from the present moment, there truly is no time like … right now.

As a first step, consider these 3 powerful questions:

  • If you had all the love and money you could ever want, what would YOU do?
  • What would you do if you were absolutely, positively certain that you could not fail?
  • If you could script your life to be unreasonably phenomenal, how would it go?

Letting go of “the how” (for now), let yourself SEE and FEEL and KNOW the answers to these questions. Again – you do not need to know How, yet!

Let your imagination guide you and let your heart SOAR as you connect with your answers.  Then decide: Are you interested or are you committed?

While the fulfillment of the dream itself will be cause for celebration, even more than that, it’ll be about who you had to BECOME in order to create, live, and receive what it was that you dreamed of.

EVERYONE starts out fearing that their dream is too big, too small, unachieveable, or even silly. Yet, far too many falsely conclude that it must remain a dream.

My personal, deeply-held belief is that it costs far more (in every way) NOT to pursue your dreams than it does to go for it.
