“If you’re interested, you’ll do what’s convenient.
If you’re committed, you’ll do whatever it takes.” ~ John Assaraf

How willing are YOU, to do whatever it takes, to discover the highest and best of who you are?

A common mistake is jumping right into action without first asking yourself this critical question!

So, again: How willing are YOU, to do whatever it takes, to discover the highest and best of what you are?

It’s so important to consider your willingness first … beause if you’re NOT willing to do whatever it takes, then taking time out to identify your next steps won’t be all that valuable to you.

Make sense?

That said, assuming you ARE willing, let’s have a look at next steps and finding your personal goal-setting “sweet spot”:

The Law of Attraction is one of the most powerful laws of the universe, but in my opinion, it’s no coincidence that the last 6 letters of the word Attraction are ACTION!  Truth is, you can’t just sit on your couch eating bon-bons and rightfully expect that as long as you’re holding the vision of what you want, that it is going to come knocking at your door.

But the good news is:  ACTION is the most powerful attractor.

For your dreams to manifest, it is imperative that you generate energy and clear action that aligns with creating what it is that you want for yourself. By putting inspired, aligned ACTION behind what you want, you powerfully accelerate the momentum toward the fulfillment of your desired future.  And thanks to The Law of Cause and Effect, every action has an effect.

stone rippleTaking action is a way to powerfully decide to BE the Cause, not the Effect, of what happens for you.

Either you choose to lead your life OR you are allowing whatever comes your way, to determine your course. It really is such a powerful choice!

If you’re tired of waiting for circumstances to change or making promises to start tomorrow, then decide now that YOU are ready to take your next inspired, aligned, focused, practical action in the direction of what you want for yourself.

No excuses.

It starts with this decision.  This single moment of decision is the kind of singular moment that you’ll look back on and say “THAT was when it all began. From that pivotal point on, there was no more question in my mind and no room for negotiation about it. In that moment, I made my decision.”

It’s that moment when you say to yourself, “I’m going to do this thing. It’s mine. Now I just have to work out the details.”

If and when you choose to make this internal decision, it will be nothing short of life-changing. And it’s a decision that only you can make.

From this point of decision, it’s then time to consider this question:

==> What are you going to do in the next 24 hours to jump-start your dream?

(Hint: You don’t need a fully-formed plan and you don’t need a 14-step outline.  What you need is to start, right now, TODAY, by doing something that will move your goal, dream or project forward.)

4 Easy Steps to Find Your Goal-Setting “Sweet Spot”:

STEP #1 – Make a list:  Considering what you know about your dream, goal or project, consider the question: What are all the next steps I COULD take?  Make a list of as many next steps as you can think of that you could take to move forward on your dream. List them out as they come to you, in any order.

STEP #2 – Order your list: Begin to arrange your list into the order that makes the most sense.

STEP #3 – Decide:  From your ordered list, decide what YOUR next step will be while asking yourself, Is this next step challenging but doable for me, right now?”  Your answer will vary week-to-week depending on what else you have going on, so be honest with yourself. The key is to move forward, regardless of how big or small your next step may feel to you.

Determine what will create a sense of balanced tension within you, a mix of excitement and intimidation as you move into each next step. You want to feel challenged by your next step, while also having a sense of confidence and knowing that it is doable.

STEP #4 – Commit: Take immediate action. This may mean devoting specific time for your next step and putting it on your calendar, or doing it immediately. Create accountability by telling others and asking them to help hold you accountable, and you’re on your way!
