In each and every moment, we create and re-create our life with the choices we make – whether intentional or not.  Embrace this fact with full awareness, and you’ll come to understand that only YOU can decide to take the reins on your life. Your present does NOT decide your future … unless, of course, you keep thinking and doing what you’ve always done. 

Real talk: You are either creating your life by intentional design, or you are living life by default, passive chance — in other words, winging it.  Your precious life!

Here’s the doozy: Both take the same amount of time, and both use the same amount of energy. But only ONE will be an ongoing source of fuel for your soul.

Only one will have you spilling over with gratitude, joy, faith, and wonder.

Only one will align you with your best life and your best self.

Only one will inspire others, by your example, to follow their own dreams and passions.

And only one will leave you wondering why you ever hesitated or why you didn’t begin sooner.

With this in mind, the choice is clear.  But oh, it can get so murky so quickly…

Here I’m going to give you three really simple steps. So simple, you’re going to wonder why you didn’t do this before!  

And trust me when I say they are very very powerful towards making your dream(s) come true.

So, grab a piece of paper, sit down and do this:

3 Steps to Make Your Dreams Real

Step #1: Want what you want, without apology.

Write it down on a piece of paper or a post-it.  Let your heart speak. Ask yourself: “If I could script my life to be unreasonably phenomenal, how would it go?”  What do you want for yourself?  To live the life of your dreams, you must stop apologizing or minimizing or hiding what you want or buying your own excuses about why you can’t have it or why you believe it is impossible for you.  

Step #2: Feel into it.

What would it FEEL like to live this dream? Set fear and doubt aside and just savor the sense of joy and excitement you feel as you imagine living your dreams. Enjoy just thinking about it, paying attention to what you see, hear, and feel.

Step #3: Rate your desire. 

How bad do you want it? Rate the strength of your desire on a scale of 1-10. Write it down.
